In recent years, organic modified silicone oil has developed rapidly, and many special silicone oils have appeared, which are divided into methyl silicone oil, ethyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone oil, methyl hydrogen silicone oil, methyl phenyl silicone oil, methyl ethoxy silicone oil, methyl trifluoropropyl silicone oil, methyl vinyl silicone oil, methyl hydroxyl silicone oil, ethyl hydrogen silicone oil and hydroxyl hydrogen. Silicone oil has excellent heat resistance, electrical insulation, weather resistance, hydrophobicity, physiological inertia and small surface tension. In addition, it has low viscosity-temperature coefficient and high compression resistance. Some varieties also have radiation resistance.

Silicone oil has many special properties, such as low temperature viscosity coefficient, resistance to high and low temperature, oxidation resistance, high flash point, low volatility, good insulation, low surface tension, non-corrosive to metals, non-toxic and so on. Because of these characteristics, silicone oil has excellent effects in many applications. Among all kinds of silicone oil, methyl silicone oil is the most widely used, the most important variety of silicone oil, followed by methyl phenyl silicone oil. Silicone oil is generally colorless (or light yellow), tasteless, non-toxic, non-volatile liquid. Silicone oil is insoluble in water, methanol, diol and ethoxyethanol. It can be soluble with benzene, dimethyl ether, methyl ethyl ketone, carbon tetrachloride or kerosene, and slightly soluble in acetone, dioxane, ethanol and alcohol. It has low vapor pressure, high flash point and ignition point, and low solidification point. With the different number of segments n, the molecular weight increases and the viscosity increases. If the low viscosity silicone oil is to be prepared, acid clay can be used as catalyst, and the acid clay can be used as catalyst for polymerization at 180 C, or sulfuric acid as catalyst for polymerization at low temperature, and alkaline catalyst can be used for the production of high viscosity silicone oil or viscous substance.

There are two reasons for oil spilling in condensated RTV silicone products: one is caused by low boiling substance, because the volatile matter of 107 gel is too high, the quality of organosilicon DMC is problematic (high ring content). When the total content of high ring, methyl and trifunctional group in 107 gel exceeds 200 x 10-6, the function of 107 gel in this production is to crack material production, and only when the content of monomethyl is zero is analyzed and reported. It is produced with high quality silicone D4. Another reason is the use of methyl silicone oil. If 203 functional silicone oil is used instead of methyl silicone oil, there will be no oil spill. If you want to increase the softness of the products, 203 functional silicone oil with different molecular weight can be used to adjust the specific dosage of 5% - 40%, wide range and convenient application.

In the field of processed silica gel, experts in n-butyl titanate are exploring ways to increase bonding strength and tear strength at the same time. In addition, in the process of hydrogen bonding, platinum catalysis and vinyl addition with crosslinking agent, if M99 is used, the structure can deepen the crosslinking. Increasing the amount of M99 will result in a thickening phenomenon. Adding 203 functional silicone oil can adjust the product to the required viscosity, and the use effect can also meet the required standards.
Processing Method for Improving Transparency, Viscosity and Tear Resistance of Products
Traditional silica is short chain polyhydroxyl structure, which is not compatible with silicone oil. Although the content of hydroxyl is high, the volatile content of traditional low molecular weight hydroxyl silicone oil is too high, and most hydroxyl groups exist in low molecular weight boiling compounds, some of them can be as high as 15%. The remaining molecular weights are compared. Thus, the hydroxyl groups and structure of white carbon black are really controlled.
